In my work I investigate the relationship between time and space according to strategies of repetition. I want to make a organic record of the passage of time. I am interested in the different variations that occur inevitably in each repetition.
My concern with time has its origin in my musical life, where repetition is part of the everyday routine of a musician. I transform the repetitive rhythmic gestures encountered in the piano practice into explorations of pure abstraction. I register time through the trace left by those movements.
