I count: 1,2,3,4,5... and write those numbers. I am interested in the relation between a manufactured, objective, mechanical time and a subjective experience of this time.
The time experience of the viewer also comes into play: turning the pages of a book, walking a physical distance, listening to a sound recording...
In the work Untitled (60 ', 14/06/2004 - 20/06/ 2004) I counted aloud at the same time that I wrote in a notebook those numbers during one hour. I repeated that action over the course of a week. Each day has its notebook and audio recording. The objective time (one hour) is reflected in different subjective times: each book and the consequent sound recording reaches a different number.
